Guidelines for discipline and order

  • All students must reach the school premises by 8.45 a.m. and attend the Morning Assembly at 9.00 a.m. with proper decorum.
  • Students shall be responsible for the safe custody of their belongings. It is suggested that their names must be inscribed on articles like lunch boxes, school bags and umbrellas.
  • It is not advisable for students to have too much cash or expensive articles in their possession during school hours. The school will not be responsible for the loss in such cases.
  • The school premises and classrooms must be kept neat and tidy, thus promoting clean environment.
  • Speaking in English is compulsory in the school premises and in the school bus.
  • Damages to school property, disfiguring of walls, indecent language or behaviour are serious offences which may entail punishment and even dismissal.
  • Students should not bring any magazine, periodicals, cameras, CD's and such other gadgets to the school without the permission of the Principal.
  • Use of mobile phones on the school premises is strictly prohibited. Any mobile phone found in the possession of the students will be confiscated and will not be returned even at the request of their parents.
  • Students will not be allowed to answer telephone calls during class time.
  • Students must utilize the school library to the maximum and keep a record of the books they read, in their diary.
  • Participation in selected co-curricular activities and school functions is compulsory.
  • Irregular attendance, habitual disobedience, or any misconduct injurious to the overall values of the school will not be permitted.
  • No behavior adversely affecting the discipline of the school will be tolerated. Students should maintain decorum in the class rooms and corridors. They should not leave their classrooms or enter other classrooms without permission.
  • Wearing skirts/pants below the waist level is strictly prohibited.
  • A student must obtain prior permission from the Principal before joining any course or activity, not conducted or organised by the school. These activities should not clash with the school programmes.
  • Students should at all times show respect and reverence to school authorities, and members of the staff. They should remember that every child in this institution is a gentleman or lady in the making.
  • Every student of Little Hearts School must imbibe the spirit of the motto of the school : "Strive for the Best" and try to excel in everything.
