A word to parents

  • Parents are requested to ensure that their children attend classes on all working days punctually.
  • Active co-operation of parents with the school is an essential pre-requisite for the welfare of the children.
  • Parents are expected to co-operate with the school by ensuring regularity, punctuality and discipline in the children and by taking keen interest in their progress.
  • To see that their children put in adequate hours of study at home - at least one hour in the morning and two to three hours in the evening - to complete their home assignments and prepare their lessons.
  • Parents should check the diary everyday and take note of the homework given and ensure that the home work is done before the children come to school the next day.
  • parents and guardians are requested to see that their children come to school with their nails trimmed and hair properly cut and combed as well as in neat and complete school uniform.
  • Parents should encourage their children to participate in school activities and co-curricular competitions.
  • Parents must attend the Open House meetings to get an update on their child's academic performance and conduct.
  • Parents are welcome to meet the teachers on any working day between 3.35 p.m. and 4.00 p.m. During class hours parents will not be permitted to meet the teachers.
  • A progress report showing the Academic Performance of the children, with suggestions for improvement, will be given to the parents during the Open House after FA1, SA1 and FA3. If the parent is unable to attend the Open House for any valid reason it must be communicated to the Class Teacher and the Report Card must be collected within that week itself. The Report must be signed and returned to the Class Teacher within three days of issue.
  • Any change of address or telephone number of parents/ guardians should be communicated to the school.
  • Parents are not expected to give any gifts to school employees.
  • Parents are advised to avoid sending their children to school when they are sick or without proper uniform.
  • Ensure that your child has a good breakfast before he/she comes to school.
  • A student must obtain prior permission from the Principal before joining any course or activity, not conducted or organised by the school. These activities should not clash with the school programmes.
  • Show that you are interested in your children's welfare by asking about school, their teachers, friends and listening to what them tell you. By all means refrain from criticising the teachers in front of the children.
  • Praise their efforts and not just their accomplishments.
  • Parents should avoid planning social functions, tours and pilgrimages on school days.
  • Parents should remit the school fees and term fees on the days prescribed without delay.
  • Parents are requested to retain the fee receipts at least till the end of the academic year.
  • Parents are always welcome to meet the school authorities and express their views and suggestions in a spirit of co-operation and goodwill.
  • We are as much interested in your child as you are. So take us into confidence about everything relating to your child.
  • Application for TC should be submitted at least seven days in advance and it will be issued only after clearing the dues, if any.
